Super Eagles 23-Man Squad Is Ready- Keshi Declares


More than two days before FIFA's deadline for submission of team list for the 2014 World Cup expires, Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has stated that already has an idea of the players that will make his final 23-man squad.
The former Hawks of Togo handler, however, informed that he would wait till the last minute before making the list public.
 Keshi, who spoke on Friday after the Eagles had their first work -out at the Philadelphia Eagles Stadium in Philadelphia, USA, said he was excited by the tactical and technical depth displayed by the Nigerian players.

Commenting on who he thinks would make the final team list, the Big Boss said: "Yes, I have an idea of those who will go with us to Brazil but we will still wait till the last minute before we announce the list."
 Keshi said he was delaying naming the list so as to have a second look at those who are not measuring up. 
 On when the last minute would likely be, he said: "June 2 is the date we are looking at."
 Meanwhile, Keshi has scheduled twice a day training for the 30 players in the pre World Cup squad.
 The first of the training session took place  8am (1pm Nigerian Time) on Friday in Philadelphia, while the second took place at 4:30pm same day. 
 This training regime is expected to be sustained ahead of the naming of the 23-man list for the Mundial in Brazil. 
 The team is putting up at the Westin Hotel and Resort in the centre of Philadelphia, an hotel described by the team's psychologist, Dr Robinson Okosun. as serene and a delight place. 
 The world cup kicks off on 12 June to 13 July, 2014 in Brazil.
