Male suicide bomber disguised as a female kills 14 in Chad market

4 people have been confirmed dead after a male suicide bomber dressed in Burqa, blew himself up in the main market in Chad's capital N'Djamena this morning. Chadian police say 14 people were killed while 74 others sustained injuries.
"Our current count is 15 dead," police spokesman Paul Manga, said, a total which included the suicide bomber.
Several witnesses say the bomber had tried to enter the market wearing a woman's burqa. Chad authorities banned the head-to-toe religious garment last month saying attackers could use it as a disguise or hide explosives underneath.
"The suicide bomber was a man disguised as a woman (in a burqa). He tried to enter the market when he was intercepted by police. That is when he detonated the bomb." the Chadian police spokesperson said

Nigerian lady repairs bad street in Lekki using her own money

Media personality and Vlogger Ariyike Akinbobola did something most won't do. She repaired the bad road leading to her home after waiting endlessly for government to carry out repairs. She bought broken blocks and sand and poured it on the road - which is usually flooded after heavy downpour - to make it motorable. Rihanna was seen making a rather eye-catching appearance at Hooray Henry's nightclub in West Hollywood with rumoured beau Karim Benzema.
Turning heads as she entered the venue, the American songstress was dressed to impress in a chic pinstriped blazer and tiny matching shorts, which drew heaps of attention to her ample cleavage and slender legs.

So things must have been awkward when they learned that RiRi’s ex Chris was partying at the same venue.

Glo drops Naeto C, Lynxxx as brand ambassadors, signs Wizkid

Yesterday, MTN announced that they had dropped Wizkid, Timaya and Sean Tizzle, D'Prince as their brand ambassadors. But according to what I gathered, Wizkid actually moved to Globacom 4 weeks ago after complaining that MTN was delaying payment and mostly because Glo offered him more to be their ambassador. He signed a 2-year deal with Glo said to be over N100million.

Rappers Naeto C and Lynxxx have been dropped by the telecoms giant. Some ambassadors were dropped because Glo wanted to bring in more guys so they needed to decongest. I hear comedian Bovi, AY, Yoruba actor Odunlade Adekola and actor OC Ukeje have also joined Glo.

Wife killed in head-on crash while pursuing her husband who was driving with another woman

A married woman based in Houston Texas lost her life yesterday afternoon in a tragic car accident after her car had a head-on collision with another car while she was chasing her husband who was carrying another woman. The woman apparently lost control of her car and went into a spin, striking another vehicle head-on. She died at the scene and the man in the vehicle that she had a head-on collision with sustained injuries and was taken by Life Flight to an area hospital. The woman's husband and the woman with him were unhurt. So sad!

Usher Raymond and Justin Bieber sued for ripping off another artist

Justin Bieber and Usher are being sued for their song, "Somebody to Love," because some powerful judges just ruled that they may have ripped off another artist.
According to 
TMZThe Bieber/Usher collaboration is "Somebody to Love," recorded in 2010. A guy named Devin Copeland, known as De Rico, and his songwriting partner Mareio Overton claim the famous pair ripped off their 2008 song by the same name.   
Problem for Copeland and Overton ... a federal judge ruled the songs weren't similar at all and booted them out of court in 2014. 
But a federal appeals court just ruled, the first judge was way off base, concluding, the Bieber/Usher hook have an "almost identical rhythm and strikingly similar melody."   So the case now goes back for a full-blown trial where they're seeking $10 million in damages.Listen to the songs. 'This child will be a risk to you not just us' an anti-Islamic state activist wrote as he posted this photo on Twitter on Sunday night. The sick photo shows the newborn baby sleeping next to a handgun, hand grenade and an Islamic State birth certificate.

The image was posted through the twitter account of Abu Ward Al-Raqqawi an anti-Islamic State activist in Syria, in the hope of garnering attention to the international threat posed by ISIS.

The post said the newborn child is called ‘Jrah’, while his mothers name is ‘Om’ and his fathers name is ‘Abu.’ It also claimed the certificate next to the baby is an 'ISIS issued ID for a child'. The activist was trying to send a message but the photo has angered millions of people around the world.
